A car park attendant suffered a broken wrist and a female colleague was briefly knocked unconscious in a car park row at a Moseley restaurant.

West Midlands Police have released images of three men wanted for questioning following the fracas at Tipu Sultan restaurant in Alcester Road on February 22 at about 7pm.

The argument broke out between three occupants of a white Mercedes and one of the car park staff.

The 50-year-old attendant was knocked to the floor and struck with a chair. His wrist was broken in two places in the attack.

A colleague came to his aid and she was punched to the side of her face, rendering her briefly unconscious. The 43-year-old also suffered cuts and bruises. Both required hospital treatment.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses to the attack and examined local CCTV, but the three suspected offenders have not yet been traced.

The Tipu Sultan opened last year on the site of the former Jug Of Ale pub.

Investigating officer DC Lynsey Bailey said: “This was a senseless attack over a parking dispute which escalated out of proportion, resulting in two people receiving serious injuries.

“I am hoping that someone will recognise the men we are looking for and contact me.”

DC Bailey can be contacted on 101 or alternatively information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
