Deolali Indian

Deolali is a chic little Indian restaurant in Birmingham, based in the heart of trendy Moseley Village. Nestled in the former Architectural Antiques building next to The Old Bull's Head pub, we are a far cry from the traditional Indian restaurants in Birmingham. The entrance is through an arched green gateway off St Mary's Row and inside you will find a fine, spacious room set on three levels and open to the rafters. Keeping the originality of the architecture, the handsome oak flooring, exposed brickwork, chunky wooden tables and subtle lighting, make an impressive space for the more discerning diner.

In 2011 we are excited to announce a new speciality menu, inspired by dishes from South India. Proprietor Tariq Zaman, had previously judged the regional heats of the South Asian Chef of the Year Awards. The speciality menu truly reflects the tastes and flavours of regions of India. In a city that is dominated by Indian restaurants offering Bangladeshi and Punjabi cuisine, restaurants offering South Indian cuisine are few and far between.
